What an interesting year 2010 proved. With a new government in power we saw a reduction of planning applications for new housing, almost immediately, with only 31, 533 applications made in the third quarter of last year. The figures are described as "alarming" by the Home Builders Federation. The country is thought to have a shortfall of about 1m homes but last year fewer were built than at any time since 1923.   

Whilst proving a difficult year for almost all, Display continued to deliver schemes throughout London during 2010 and looks forward to many starting in the New Year. One of which sees the construction of a large timber-framed environmental residential dwelling in South West London.
